Kuwaitis on podium of Qatar Int'l Endurocross


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Kuwaiti racers have won first places in the third round of Qatar International Endurocross that gathered 35 racers from 10 countries.

Mohammad Jaafar, a Kuwaiti racer, won the MX2 category, clinching the second place, followed by his compatriot Moath Al-Ansari, while the first place went to their compatriot Fahad Al-Musalam in the Quad category.

In a statement to KUNA on Friday, Mohammad Al-Hattab, head of Motocross at Kuwait's Basel Salem Al-Sabah Motor Racing Club, said that some Arab and international racers took part in the tournament, adding that this showed the development of the game across the Gulf region.

Racers performed well during the competition and this will help them partake in the coming Arab and regional events, he noted.

He expressed his hope that racers of motocross would continue performing well in the coming contests so as to upgrade the game in order to meet aspirations of the society, he pointed out.
