Syrian drug lord arrested- Lebanese security

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT Jan 9 (KUNA) -- A Syrian national; on the most-wanted list was arrested by Lebanese security forces on the charge of smuggling large quantities of drug pills into Gulf countries security forces announced Saturday.The drug dealer; believed to be heading an international network for Captagon trafficking was arrested in coordination with Saudi security forces said a statement by the Lebanese security.The arrested is thought to be the mastermind behind the smuggling of some 12 million pills.Others were also detained by the central anti-drugs bureau for a wide-interrogation.
