Jeddah girl goes missing a second time


(MENAFN- Arab News) JEDDAH: A 12-year-old Jeddan girl went missing again just one month after disappearing previously. And she was found again two days after this second disappearance at Jeddah Corniche.
The girl went missing this time after her mother went to buy groceries from a store next to her house. The first time she went missing she was accompanied by her friend from school at the end of the school day with both girls failing to come home.
Spokesman for Makkah police Col. Ati Al-Qurashi said in a statement that Al-Nuzha police station in Jeddah governorate received a call about the missing girl on Tuesday. Police found the girl on Jeddah Corniche two days later in good condition.
He said that her mother went to a nearby store in Al-Bawadi neighbourhood when she disappeared but the girl was found safe and sound and was handed to her family.
The earlier incident happened on Dec. 7 when she and her friend disappeared from school.
