(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH Jan 8 (KUNA) -- A Saudi citizen was kidnapped at gunpoint by a group of armed rioters before he was set free Police of the Eastern region Saudi Arabia reported on Friday."The police in Qatif province were notified by a citizen in his thirties that he was kidnapped at gunpoint by a group of armed rioters when passing through the town of Awwamiya and taken to an agricultural area" Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted police media spokesperson as saying.The spokesperson added that the kidnapee was "beaten and photographed before shooting at his vehicle after he was released."
