Coalition command affirms Iranian embassy in Sanaa safe
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH Jan 7 (KUNA) -- The Command of Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen stressed on Thursday the safety of Iranian embassy's building in the Yemeni capital Sanaa.This came following allegations by Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister that accused the coalition's aircrafts of targeting the Iranian embassy in Yemen.In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) the coalition command affirmed that these allegations were false stressing that its aircraft did not launch any operations in the vicinity of the embassy or near it.The command also emphasized that the embassy's headquarters is undamaged.The command advised all diplomatic missions in Sanaa not to provide an opportunity for militias to use diplomatic missions' buildings in any military act as this violates international norms and conventions.
