Davutoglu: Russia Helping Assad in Killing Civilians


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Ankara January 07 (QNA) - Turkish Prime Minister Ahmed Davutoglu has accused Russia of joining Bashar al-Assad's regime in killing civilians in Syria calling on the world not to remain silent on this "injustice".

Anadolu Agency (AA) quoted Davutoglu as saying that Russia has become a partner of the Syrian regime and its supporters who are brutally bombing civilians in Syria and the world should not tolerate Syrians fleeing the bombing of the Assad regime and his allies as well as Syrians fleeing ISIS.

The Turkish Prime Minister also said that his country is not responsible to face the Syrian crisis alone adding that the UN Security Council and Russia are responsible for the tragedy faced by the Syrians.Davutoglu stressed at the same time that Turkey continues to provide all forms of support and assistance to the Syrians.
