Jordan- Cold weather forecast over next two days


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Jan. 7 (Petra) --- A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Thursday but it will remain relatively cold in the hilly areas and mild in the Badia the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with southwesterly moderate to brisk winds at times.

According to the Jordan Metrological Department ( JMD) the weather will turn to partly cloudy in the evening with a chance for scattered showers in the western parts of the Kingdom.

A wet and cold air mass will affect the country on Friday bringing lower temperatures and heavy rain in most regions accompanied by thunder lightening and hail. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly brisk with strong gusts at times the JMD added.

Temperatures in Amman for today will range between a high of 19 degrees Celsius and a low of 8 degrees at night.
