UAE- International Conference of Arts and Sciences at Al Ain University

AL AIN 6th January 2016 (WAM) -- The Al Ain University of Science and Technology AAU is to organise a multidisciplinary conference in cooperation with the International Journal of Arts and Sciences IJAS from the United States.

The university will host the event from January 31st to February 4th on its Al Ain campus. The conference presents a unique opportunity to meet experts academics and researchers who will be discussing modern and post-modern topics in the fields of arts social sciences humanities economy and technology.

The multidisciplinary conference was launched by IJAS one of the most important world conferences since its inception in the United States. It holds 16 conferences annually in different countries including the United States France Spain Greece Italy Australia New Zealand Brazil and Canada. AAU will be the only Arab university in the Arab world to host the first of its kind in the United Arab Emirates in 2016.

Speaking on the announcement the AAU Chancellor Dr. Noor Aldeen Atatreh said that the conference aims to encourage academics and researchers to submit their research and theoretical and applied studies in several fields such as social and human arts business economics education teaching engineering technology physics health and life as well as many other topics in various areas.

The Director of Development and Follow-up at Al Ain University Dr. Ibtehal Aburezeq said that the university is proud of its great achievement in hosting this world conference specifically in the city of Al Ain as the first Arab university. She said that the university will gather more than 200 researchers from around the world including 100 from within the UAE in several scientific areas.

Over past years the conference has welcomed a large turnout from researchers in all scientific areas with the total number of participants in each session totalling more than 500 researchers and academics. Many research studies discussed during previous sessions have been applied to various economic and scientific development projects in several countries around the world.
