Jordan- Temp set to rise today light rain possible tomorrow


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Jan. 6 (Petra) -- A slight rise in mercury levels is forecast today but it will continue to feel relatively cold especially in the highlands. The Jordan Valley and the Red Sea port city of Aqaba will see fair weather as temperature will reach 25 degrees Celsius.

However it will turn chilly at night as the lows go down to 8 degrees Celsius in Amman and northern regions dropping further to 2 degrees in the southern region. Another two-degree rise is expected on Thursday but at night it will be become overcast with a change for intermittent showers of light rain especially in the northern region.

The high will reach 15 degrees Celsius in Amman today dropping to 8 degrees at night.
