Dubai's non-oil trade with Germany hits $1.7b in 2002 ABU DHABI Mar 22 2004 (WAM) -- Dubai's non-oil trade with Germany reached $1.7 billion in 2002 according to the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI). The DCCI is organising a Dubai-German Economic Forum in May which will help the business communities from both countries explore opportunities in both economies according to a report in +Gulf News.+ Abdul Rahman Ghanim Al Mutaiwee the DCCI director general yesterday received representatives from small and medium sized companies from Germany who are interested in establishing relations with their counterparts in Dubai. The delegation was headed by Hans-Werner Czerwinski managing director of the Federal Association of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises located in Hamburg. This is considered to be Europe's biggest federal business association in terms of the number of members.
