Jordan- Slight rise in temperature forecast


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Jan. 5 (Petra) -- Mercury levels are expected to slightly edge up today and tomorrow but relatively cold weather will continue to prevail across the Kingdom. There is a slim chance for scattered showers of light rain in the northern region today.

At night it will be cold with fog formation forecast in hilly areas especially in the early morning hours according to the Jordan Meteorological Department. Fair weather is forecast in the Jordan Valley and the Red Sea port city of Aqaba where the high will reach 22 degrees Celsius.

In Amman and northern highlands the high will inch up to 14 degrees Celsius dropping to around 3 degrees at night.
