Qatar- Sudan Cuts Diplomatic Ties with Iran


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Khartoum January 04 (QNA) - Sudan on Sunday announced it has decided to expel the Iranian ambassador and the entire mission in solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of the Iran's plots.
According to Sudan news agency (SUNA) a statement of the Sudanese foreign ministry said that the move came against the background of the brutal attack on the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Tehran and its consulate in the city of Mashhad.
The statement also pointed to the Government of Sudan' strong condemnation to Iran's hostile practices against the diplomatic and consulate missions of the Kingdom of Iran in a clear violation to the international law.
The Statement emphasized solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of the Iran's plots. (QNA)
