Jordanian Senate calls on Iran to respect sovereignty of Gulf states
AMMAN 4th January 2016 (WAM) -- The Jordanian Senate called on the Iranian government to respect the sovereignty and independence of Arab Gulf states and not to interfere in their international affairs.
Jordan News Agency PETRA reported that in a statement on Monday it warned of the repercussions that might result from inciting sectarianism adding that extremist groups and enemies of the nation are the ones who will benefit from that.
The Senate voiced its keenness on the unity of the Islamic nation saying this nation should focus on commonalities that unify it and not on differences that harm its interests.
