UAE- Mohamed bin Zayed receives Rwandan President

ABU DHABI 4th January 2015 (WAM) - His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces today received President Paul Kagame of Rwanda at Al Bahr Palace who is currently on a private visit to the UAE.

Sheikh Mohamed welcomed President Kagame and discussed bilateral ties as well as steps to enhance them.

The meeting also focused on increasing cooperation between the two countries particularly in economic commercial and investment fields.

Sheikh Mohamed and President Kagame emphasised the importance of developing relations between the two countries. They also discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest exchanging views on them.

The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan Ruler's Representative in the Western Region H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan H.H.Sheikh Surour bin Mohammed Al Nahyan H.H. Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan Chairman of the Board of Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs (ZHO) H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan Adviser to the UAE President Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan Minister of Culture Youth and Community Development and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
