Rabat – The 33 year old new mayor of Temixco Morelos state in Mexico Gisela Mota was gunned down in her home on Saturday just one day after she was elected. The mourning was held today January 4 in Temixco.

According to Euro news the victim was murdered by four gunmen. Two of them were arrested and the other two were killed. Her party released a statement that describes her as “a strong and brave woman who on taking office as mayor declared that her fight against crime would be frontal and direct.”
