Sudan expels Iran Amb.


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH Jan 4 (KUNA) -- Saudi Second Deputy crown prince Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz on Monday received a phone call from Sudanese Minister of State and Director of the Sudanese President's Office Taha Othman.During the phone conversation Othman said: "Sudan has decided to expel the Iranian ambassador along with the whole Iranian diplomatic mission from Sudan and to recall the Sudanese ambassador from Iran." The Sudanese official also reiterated Sudan's condemnation of Iranian interference in the region's affairs and Iran's failure to prevent attacks on the Saudi embassy and consulate in Iran.He also reaffirmed his country's support to Saudi Arabia in its measures to fight terrorism.
