Three unknown gunmen blow up three mosques in Babel
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD Jan 4 (KUNA) -- Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced on Monday that unknown gunmen blew up three mosques in Babel governorate in southern Iraq in a step to ignite sectarian strife.Targeting mosques in Babel is only an attempt to provoke sectarian hatred regarding the tense situation the region is suffering a statement by the Ministry said.The Ministry added that any attempt aimed to undermine the country's unity will be suppressed.The targeted mosques were Ammar bin Yasser Al-Fatih and Alexandria in Babel with no human casualties(end) aha.lb
