(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Jan. 4 (Petra)The Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) issued around 50150 certificates of origin in 2015 carrying a total value of JD1.19 billion.
According to ACC statistical figures issued Monday Iraq accounted for the highest share in terms of the value that amounted to JD340 million (2395 certificates) followed by the United Arab Emirates with JD285 million (10366 certificates) and JD100 million for Saudi Arabia with 9247 certificates.
The figures also revealed that Iraq accounted for the majority of the Chamber's exports with JD340 million followed by the UAE JD 285 million and Saudi Arabia JD100 million.
The ACC's exports during the last year were divided into re-exporting foreign products worth JD686 million agricultural products JD222 million and industrial products JD160 million in addition to the Arab products JD63 million.
The (ACC) is a non-profit organization of public interest that was founded in 1923 according to an initiative made by forty merchants then. It has played an important role in activating and improving trade and economic activity in the Kingdom.
