Oman- PACP Intensifies Control Over Markets

Dr. Said bin Khamis al- Kaabi Chairman of the Public Authority for Consumer Protection today held an expanded meeting with directors general directors of the PACP administrationsin the governorates.

The meeting which was attended by Dr. Ali bin Salim al- Qalhati Deputy Chairman of the Administrative and Financial Affairs at PACP comes within PACP's efforts to study the possible effects of the Council of Minister's decision to amend the prices of oil derivatives which will come into force with effect from mid this month.

The meeting discussed a number of issues including the achievements made in 2015 and the action plan for 2016 as well as the plans and programs by PACP to maintain the achievements made for consumers over the past period.
