Arab League OIC discuss bilateral cooperation

CAIRO 4th January 2016 (WAM) -- Dr. Nabil Al Arabi Arab League Secretary-General and Iyad Ameen Madani Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation OIC have discussed means to boost bilateral cooperation and coordination of efforts on dealing with current issues especially with regard to supporting the Palestinian cause.

During their meeting in Cairo the two sides reviewed ways to support efforts of political solution to the crises in Syria Yemen and Libya. They also discussed means to address the repercussions of the serious phenomenon of terrorism and extremist ideals which threaten many Arab and Islamic countries in addition to responding to Western accusations that attaches this phenomenon to Arabs and Muslims.
