2015 ended with UAEs children top creative works


(MENAFNEditorial) After 10 days of various activities for children and parents, Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children ended its 2015 winter camp "Noon" with than 50 paintings made by kids between the ages of 4 and 16 years old.
Dubbed as the "Noon Convoy", AJCCC children have also created an exhibition of different handcraft arts made from recycled materials, such as empty water bottles and juice boxes, by coloring them and dressing them with various textures to create historical transportation means.
In addition, parents had the pleasure to watch their children perform on the centre's theatre in too different acts, the first called "the Masks" which is a silent movement based act performed by 4 to 9 years old children using masks made by them. The second act, called "The Princesses and the Well", was aimed at raising awareness among kids to respect and follow the law without any exceptions.
Different government departments and authorities also participated in the final day, including Dubai Municipality that hosted a farming workshop to help raise awareness over the importance of agriculture.
Reading had a big part in the camp, which helped children understand the concepts of research, summarizing and critical thinking through the "Hope Probe" theme.
The camp was concluded with a music concert of children's various music instruments and traditional Emirati poets.

"Noon" winter camp is an annual children camp which part of Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children programs. AJCCC is the first centre in Dubai aimed at enriching the cultural lives of children and prepare them to welcome their future while offering a safe, joyous and creative environment for children and their families that draws on Emirati and Arab cultural heritage.
