Israel carried out four air raids on Gaza

(MENAFN- Daily News Egypt) The Israeli air force launched four air raids early Saturday on locations in the Gaza Strip, which reportedly belong to Hamas.

AFP quoted an anonymous Palestinian source who said: "F-16 planes carried out a new air raid on locations of the resistance in Gaza, Beit Hanon, and Rafah."

No causalities have been reported so far.

The Israeli army said in a statement that its fighters targeted "two military locations related to Hamas".

It also said that it considers Hamas responsible for all attacks originating from the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army targeted the Qassam Brigade's Badr military site in northern Gaza.

Another missile targeted the Gaza international airport, which was destroyed by Israel several years ago.

The Israeli raids come a few hours after two missiles were launched from Gaza targeting the south of the occupied territories.

On late Thursday, five missiles were launched from Gaza Strip, but three fell back inside the strip.

Rocket sirens went off in communities near the Gaza border. The Israeli army said it is searching the area.

Earlier on Friday, two Palestinians were injured by Israeli fire near the border, according to both the Israeli army and Palestinian medical sources.

Since the Israeli invasion of the Gaza strip in 2014, 30 rockets have been launched from strip, according to the Israeli army.
