(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT Jan 2 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Interior (MOI) categorically denied Saturday reports on social media that a female police officer had assisted a wanted male friend who was subjected a travel ban to depart the country.In a press statement the MOI said that such allegations are baseless and the person in question is on leave saying that such conduct is unbefitting of anyone affiliated with the MOI.An anti-crime department is in place to monitor any potential violations the statement added.The statement also urged social media users to be careful of any information disseminated on social networking websites and to refrain from spreading them.
