(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Jan. 1 (Petra) -- The Jordanian Electric Power Company (JEPCO) said it has dealt with 968 electricity supply-related complaints since yesterday adding that power disruptions were handled while 66 are still being worked on.
JEPCO launched a contingency plan on Thursday to deal with any urgency arising from the weather condition affecting the Kingdom.
JEPCO Director General Marwan Bashnaq said the company is highly prepared to deal with any electric dispruption.
He said engineers and technicians were deployed to instantly repair any damage caused by gusty winds and heavy rainfall.
