Emir gets phone call from Bahrain's crown prince
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday received a telephone call from Prince Salman bin Hamad al-Khalifah, Bahrain's Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
They reviewed the relations between Qatar and Bahrain and means of promoting them, in addition to a number of issues of common concern.
Qatar- Saudi ties discussed
Governor of the Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah Region in Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud met Qatar's ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Abdullah bin Thamer al-Thani and HE Qatar's Consul-General in Jeddah Khamis bin Ibrahim al-Mohannadi.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and aspects of co-operation between the two countries.
Assistant FM meets UN envoy for Libya
HE the Assistant Foreign Minister for International Co-operation Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani yesterday met the UN special envoy for Libya Martin Kobler.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in Libya, the mechanism for implementing the Libyan political agreement signed in the Moroccan city of Skhirat, and the resolutions of the Security Council.
