"I'm here on holiday for a couple of weeks and I don't think I will brave the traffic to go out for celebrations. Most probably I will be spending time with family and friends at home."

"Lose 10 kilos (laughs). I'm going to get married next year so my main resolution would be to start a family."

Hopes from Dubai for 2016

"My biggest hope would be to see Dubai become economically stronger. Things are not as good as it seems to be. or how they used to be. Cost of living is increasing and people have to pay a lot for small things. Incomes need to increase."

"I will be going out to check the fireworks in Burj Khalifa with my family. However my main concern is on how to get there without getting stuck in traffic.. Using means of public transport like the Dubai Metro is the best way to get to the hotspots."

"In terms of infrastructure Dubai is constantly growing.. The usually beautiful landmarks have turns into an eyesore due to all the construction. It is also causing a lot of pollution."

"I am a tourist here and being an Indian Dubai is everything that I hoped it would be. It's gorgeous and it is indeed a great place for families. I wish there would be an economic boom and maybe I can shift here looking for work."
