PSG academy inspiring the youth of Qatar

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Some 50 boys and girls aged between 10 € 12 took part in a very special training session Tuesday morning held on the Aspire Zone grounds. Under the watchful eye of Laurent Blanc, Papus Camara and the coaches of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy, they were able to hone their technique and take inspiration from the pros who are taking part in the Qatar Tour before taking on Inter on 30 December.
The kids had been selected by four of Paris Saint-Germain's local partners (QNB, Ooredoo, beIN Sports and Emirates).
"On our various tournaments, we can see that Paris Saint-Germain is really taking on an extra dimension, and that's a good thing," said Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc. "It is important for young people first and foremost to want to play football, and also to wear the Paris Saint-Germain jersey. To let you in on a little secret, once I retire from professional football, if I still have the energy, I want to coach kids € that's what I find most interesting. They'll stand there and listen to you. It's when you can make the most progress, and when you really appreciate all that you can do for them."
"It was great!" said Lylia, one of the girls taking part. "We watched the Paris Saint-Germain training session this morning then afterwards, it was our turn to train with Laurent Blanc and Zoumana Camara. It was a unique opportunity since there are very few kids who get this chance. It was a really good experience."
