Saudi intercepts ballistic missile in Jizan

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) JEDDAH Dec 30 (KUNA) -- Saudi Air Defense Forces intercepted early morning a ballistic missile launched from Yemeni territories towards the city of Jizan the Command of Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced in a statement on Wednesday.The missile was destroyed without causing any damage the statement said.On Sunday a scud missile was also intercepted in Najran south of Saudi Arabia. Two more ballistic missiles were also destroyed in Jizan last week. (end) nh.nfm
