UAE Ambassador meets Somali Foreign Minister to discuss mutual relations

MOGADISHU 30th December 2015 (WAM) -- Mohammed Ahmed Othman Al Hammadi UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Somalia has met with Abdulsalam Hadliye Omar Somali Minister of Foreign Affairs to discuss relations of mutual cooperation and means of enhancing them in various fields as well as ways to encourage investment in Somalia.
During the meeting which was held at the UAE Embassy in Mogadishu the Somali Foreign Minister commended the UAE's generous support and initiatives offered to Somalia in all areas.
The minister stressed his commitment to supporting the UAE's efforts in promoting development and humanitarian projects in his country especially in civil aviation and UAE investment.
Al Hammadi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Somali Foreign Minister for his efforts in the consolidation of relations between the two countries.
The UAE Ambassador also hosted a luncheon in honour of the Somali Minister.
