Bahraini jet fighter crashes in Yemen

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH Dec 30 (KUNA) -- A Bahraini fighter jet operating within the Saudi-led operations to support the legitimate government in Yemen went down due to a technical malfunction said a statement here Wednesday.A statement by the central command of the coalition said that an F-16 fighter went down in Yemen with the pilot surviving the crash.The Saudi-led coalition is aiming at reinstating the Yemeni government led by President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi as well as defeating the reneged militant force of Al-Houthis and its main supporter -- former President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
