Egypt Seeks To Partner With Morocco's Construction Sector


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) The Egyptian Federation for Construction & Building Contractors (EFCBC) is reportedly seeking partnerships with Moroccan contracting firms.

According to Egyptian website Amwal Al Ghad specialized in economy EFCBC Chairman Hassan Abdel Aziz saidon Sundayduring a meeting with Morocco's Minister of Housing and Urban Policy Nabil Benabdallah that the federation is seeking to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Egyptian entrepreneurs want to establish partnerships between construction companies in Egypt and Morocco in order to implement large projects in Africa.

'The African market is promising since it has lots of job opportunities into which a powerful Egyptian-Moroccan partnership could enter instead of foreign firms' Hassan Abdel Aziz said.

The same source said that Benabdallah stressed the importance of deepening the partnership between Egyptian and Moroccan firms adding that the partnerships will help both countries' companies enter international projects.

After a media crisis between the two Morocco and Egypt have agreed to take a step forward in their bilateral relations by announcing a new generation of high value-added agreements Egyptian Ambassador to Morocco Ahmed Ihab Jamal Eddine said.

In an interview publishedon Thursdayby Egyptian paper 'Al Watan' the ambassador highlighted the ongoing efforts to update bilateral agreements in various fields.

The diplomat added that both countries are determined to give new impetus to economic and commercial cooperation.
