Iraq parliament speaker commends Kuwait's counter terrorism support aid

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD Dec 29 (KUNA) -- Iraqi House of Representatives Speaker Saleem Al-Jabouri Tuesday commended State of Kuwait's support to Iraq in its fight against terrorism as well as providing humanitarian aid.Jabouri in a statement following his meeting with Kuwait's Ambassador in Baghdad Ghassan Al-Zawawi said he "commends the role and positions of the State of Kuwait towards Iraq either in the war against terrorism or the humanitarian aid for the displaced." He said they have discussed situation in the region in addition to boosting bilateral cooperation.Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) has been offering humanitarian and medical aid for the needy in Iraq.
