Qatar- Ministry of Economy recalls 2016 Volvo XC90 vehicles

Doha: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce in cooperation with Doha Marketing Services (Domasco) the dealer of Volvo cars in Qatar has announced the recall of 2016 models of Volvo XC90 vehicles due to a defect in the rear side airbags curtain.

The recall comes within the framework of ongoing coordination and follow-up by the ministry to ascertain the extent of car dealerships' commitment to follow up vehicles' defects and repair them to protect consumers' rights.

The ministry stressed that it will coordinate with the dealership to follow up maintenance and repair operations and will communicate with customers to ensure implementation of the procedures to fix defects.

The ministry urged consumers to report any abuses or irregularities by communicating with the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat which will receive complaints suggestions and inquiries through its communication channels.
