Afghani Education Minister Arrives in Doha

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Doha December 28 (QNA) - Minister of Education of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Asad Hanif Balkhi arrived here today on a visit to Qatar.
He was welcomed upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Abdul Wahed bin Mohammed Al-Hammadi who is also Secretary General of the Supreme Education Council and Charge d'Affaires at Afghanistan embassy in Doha Mohamed Qasim Himmat.
The Afghani minister is expected to discuss educational relations with a number of officials and to visit schools and educational institutions.
An agreement in the field of education between the State of Qatar and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan will also be signed during the visit. (QNA)
