Qatar- Iraqi PM Vows to Defeat ISIS in 2016


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Baghdad December 29 (QNA) - Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi vowed Monday to oust ISIS from his country in 2016.
After Iraqi government forces recaptured Ramadi Al-Abadi said in a televised address that 2016 will be the year of the big and final victory when ISIS presence in Iraq will be terminated.
He also vowed to retake Iraq's second city of Mosul saying that it will be "the fatal and final blow" to ISIS.
The US Secretary of State John Kerry welcomed recapture of Ramadi in which Iraqi forces flew the national flag above the main government complex in Ramadi saying that ISIS had 'suffered a major defeat'. (QNA)
