GCC's disabled actors present their issues through plays


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MUSCAT Dec 28 (KUNA) -- Kuwait is taking part in the Fourth GCC Theatre Festival for Persons with Disabilities held in Oman for seven days.The festival aims to encourage disabled actors to show their theatrical talents while also develop their abilities through training courses assistant Undersecretary of Human Resources and Financial Affairs Deptartment at the Kuwait Public Authority for the Disabled Hussein Al-Duwaihes told KUNA on Monday.The festival inaugurated yesterday includes six plays performed by each GCC state said Al-Duwaihes adding that the event is an opportunity for people with disability to present topics of concern to themselves including the difficulties they face in their lives and the society's point of view on them.The official also noted that Kuwait is exerting great efforts to support this category of society through developing different bodies to provide them with the best services.(end) ahr.ag
