S. Korea to assign USD67.3m for public display devices


(MENAFN) South Korea will invest a total of USD67.3 million in order to enhance and develop the digital signage industry as it effortlessly seeks to nurture new growth engines.

In more detail, Digital signage basically refers to display devices and gadgets that show advertisements and information in public or commercial areas through networks.

The global market for digital signage stood at USD15.1 billion in 2014 but its forecasted to grow significantly, and South Korea currently makes up 19 percent of the global market.

South Korea has strongly positioned itself in the Information and communications technology's industry throughout the last quarter of century, and it only strives for even more.
