Kuwaiti authorities care much for Yemenis- Int. Min.


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT Dec 28 (KUNA) -- The Yemeni community in Kuwait enjoys all possible care and support from State authorities affirmed the Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister on Monday.The authorities are keen on resolving difficulties that may face the Yemenis in Kuwait within framework of the deep-rooted relations that bond the two countries said Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah as cited in a statement released by the Ministry of Interior's Security Information Department.Minister Sheikh Mohammed Al-Khaled made the statement during a meeting with the visiting Yemeni Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdulmalik Al-Mekhlafi and officials accompanying him.The official statement added that the two sides discussed security issues of common concern and means of solidifying bilateral ties between Kuwait and Yemen.The Kuwaiti-Yemeni talks dealt with regional issues it said adding that the two parties affirmed necessity of coordination namely in the security domain with aim of training and sharpening skills of Yemeni personnel "as a priority at present for Yemen to restore security for the people." The meeting was attended by Interior Undersecretary Lieutenant General Suleiman Al-Fahad Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Homeland Aziz Al-Daihani and State of Kuwait's Ambassador to Yemen Fahad Al-Mai'.
