(MENAFN) The head of New Aswan City's development confirmed the construction of more than 4,000 residential units in the city.
This falls within the parameters and funding devices established by Egypt's Social Housing Program, an initiative that planned to offer 1mn homes for low-revenue.
Moreover, the Social Housing Program is referred to as the One Million units' project, with investment from the private sector of USD 40bn.
The program was seen as a soothing measure at the time, as application was supported without provision of the situations under which applications would be considered.
