(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) TOKYO Dec 28 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's crude oil exports to Japan in November hit a six-month high of 9.03 million barrels or 326000 barrels per day (bpd) surging 53.1 percent from a year earlier government data showed Monday.The figure was the highest since May when its crude oil shipments to Japan recorded 10.89 million barrels (351000 bpd) according to a preliminary report released from the Japanese Natural Resources and Energy Agency.Kuwait was Japan's third-biggest oil provider last month supplying 9.2 percent of the Asian nation's total crude imports also marked the biggest share since May's 10.6 percent stake.Japan's overall imports of crude oil grew 6.0 percent year-on-year to 3.26 million bpd for the first rise in three months.Shipments from the Middle East accounted for 82.1 percent of the total up 2.2 percentage points from the year before. Saudi Arabia remained Japan's No.1 oil supplier with imports from the kingdom jumping 25.0 percent from a year earlier to 1.19 million bpd followed by the United Arab Emirates with 700000 bpd down 14.2 percent.Russia ranked fourth with 270000 bpd and Qatar fifth with 224000 bpd respectively.
