As a result of rain daytime temperature will drop to around 21C from the standard 25C.

The nights are expected to be even chillier.

A senior official from the Met office said 'This is a normal phenomenon at this time of the year and hence nothing to worry about.

Muscat will be cloudy and the temperature will drop by a few degrees. Although rain has been forecast only for Monday cloudy weather will persist till Tuesday. Temperature in and around the city will be around 21C.'

Wave height is likely to reach 3m and fishermen have been warned not to venture deep into the sea.
