Kuwait- 139 foreign, local liquor bottles seized


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Officers from Mubarak Al-Kabeer Command arrested a Bedoun in Salmiya for the possession of 70 bottles of various types of imported liquor. In compliance with the directive of Criminal Detectives Department Director Major General Mahmoud Al-Tabbakh and his Deputy for Governorates Affairs Brigadier Mohammad Al-Sharhan, the officers nabbed the suspect after the department received a tip off. The officers were monitoring him until the right time to raid his apartment where the items were found.

In a separate raid, the officers apprehended a Kuwaiti man wanted by law for evading a four-year jail term in possession of narcotics in Mubarak Al-Kabeer. In another case, Ahmadi officers arrested two Asians in possession of 60 bottles of local liquor in front of a residential complex in Mahboula. The suspects were on their way to sell the items.
