Jordan- Relatively cold weather prevails till Monday


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Dec.27 (Petra) -- The weather on Sunday and Monday is expected to be relatively cold in the hilly areas and the desert regions while it will be mild in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with clouds at low altitudes. Winds will be southeasterly moderate.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) temperatures will further drop during the night; therefore it will be chilly in the hilly areas and the desert regions and relatively cold in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with frost formation in most parts of the Kingdom.

Maximum temperatures expected in the capital for today will reach a high of 15 degrees Celsius and a low of 5 degrees at night in the northern regions 5-16 degrees while in the Gulf of Aqaba it will hit a high of 22 degrees dropping down to 9 degrees at night.
