Kuwait- New Year holiday shifted to 3rd Jan

(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced on Friday that the New Year holiday would be forwarded to Jan 3 instead of Thursday Dec 31, due to school exams.

His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah ordered the delay of the New Year holiday from Dec 31 to Jan 3 out of keenness for students' interests, and in order not to cause any confusion to the mid-year exams schedule, the CSC said in a statement.

Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr Bader Hamad Al-Essa said that the decision was meant to complete and not to interrupt them.
