Meanwhile after four months of nearly non-stop action the QSL teams have split for a short but welcome break of 11 days.

The round of 15 action will resume on January 2 2016 when the teams return to the football pitches across the country.

This rest comes after the conclusion of Round 14 fixtures which were full of excitement and unexpected results at the top of the league table or in the relegation zone. The teams usually split for complete rest while some sides opt to decelerate on the intensity of training since players need time to recuperate from soft injuries.

Al Rayyan head coach Jorge Fossati has allowed his players three-day rest following their Round 14 match against Al Sailiyah which they won 2-1.

Also El Jaish players were sanctioned three-day rest after defeating Al Ahli by one goal. Lekhwiya players were granted five-day rest following their huge 4-0 win over Al Gharafa.

Al Arabi head coach Zola has granted his players three-day rest after losing to Al Wakra by one goal.

Al Kharaitiyat players have been granted two-day rest following their match against Qatar SC which ended in their favour 3-2.

Al Ahli players have a three-day rest while Mesaimeer players were allowed to cool off for similar number of days.

Al Gharafa (2 days) Al Sailiya (3 days) Al Khor (2 days) and Al Wakra (3 days) will also enjoy some time off.
