Fiat Chrysler announces 2 recalls of 500,000 SUVs


(MENAFN) U.S. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will recall almost 500,000 SUVs worldwide in two divide recalls that includes the Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Accordingly, the automaker said about 353,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango SUVs are being recalled due to wiring in the vanity mirror.

In addition, the second recall will be for more than 93,000 Jeep Compass and Patriot SUVs with model year 2015.

The company will examine and fix a clamp that may be out of position, which may allow power steering fluid to leak, making possible fire hazard.
