Saudi Deputy Crown Prince discusses Mideast issues with Kerry


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH Dec 24 (KUNA) -- Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Second Deputy of the Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz has discussed with US Secretary of State John Kerry bilateral relations and efforts to resolve Middle Eastern issues the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said early on Thursday.SPA said Prince Mohammad and Secretary Kerry held the discussions when the latter telephoned the Deputy Crown Prince late on Wednesday adding that the talks also tackled bilateral relations between Riyadh and Washington.The official news agency did not elaborate further on the discussions.The Middle East and the Gulf are witnessing diverse crises namely the questions of Yemen Syria and Iraq. Riyadh has recently announced an Islamic coalition to combat spreading terrorism in the troubled region. (end) od.rk
