Jordan, Japan discuss parliamentary cooperation


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Dec. 23 (Petra)--The Jordanian-Japanese Parliamentary Friendship Society on Wednesday met with president and members of the Jordanian-Japanese friendship Committee and discussed with them Jordanian-Japanese ties and means to further boost them.

President of the society MP Ali Bani Ata stressed the strong ties between Jordan and Japan pointing to the importance of His Majesty King Abdullah's recent visit to Japan and the visit of the Japanese prime minister to Jordan. Bani Aata praised Japan's supportive stance towards Jordan calling for enhancing Japanese investments in the Kingdom and increasing the number of Japanese tourists visiting the Kingdom.

Head of the Japanese delegation highlighted the importance of further promoting ties between the two countries in various fields.
