Jordan- Senate committee meets Japanese delegation


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Dec. 23 (Petra)--The Senate's Jordanian-Japanese Friendship Committee discussed with a Japanese delegation bilateral ties as ways to further boost them mainly in parliamentary fields.

Senator Mohammad Bunduqji highlighted the strong ties between Jordan and Japan that have been establish in 1954. He also pointed to the visits of His Majesty King Abdullah II to Japan that contributed to boosting cooperation and partnership between the two friendly countries.

The two sides also discussed parliamentary cooperation between the two countries and repercussions of the Syrian crisis on Jordan which is hosting a large number of Syrian refugees.
