Ready to deal with UN resolution- Syrian gov't


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN Dec 23 (KUNA) -- Syrian Presidential Adviser Buthaina Shaaban on Wednesday expressed the government readiness "to deal" with the UN resolution 2254 regarding the process to resolve the crisis in Syria.Shaaban in remarks broadcast by the official news agency SANA said the resolution affirmation of the Syrian people right to determine their destiny support for the country's territorial sanctity and sovereignty "is a matter of paramount significance." She also lauded the parts in the resolution that call for drying up terrorism resources. "We do not believe that it is a bad or good decision; it is a resolution taken by the United Nations according to the talks that have been held in Vienna and Geneva thus we are ready to deal with it."
